Police discover 100 suspected cannabis plants in Rahovec; samples taken for examination

Kosovo Police have reported the discovery of numerous suspicious plants containing Cannabis Sativa within an agricultural field in Rahovec. Authorities were dispatched to the location after reports indicated the presence of unauthorized vegetation growing among cultivated potato crops. Upon arrival, relevant police units located and seized approximately 100 individual plants.

The discovery prompted immediate action, and the seized materials have been collected for official forensic examination. According to the police report, the prosecutor’s office was notified of the incident. Following this notification, the prosecutor ordered that specific samples from the collected plants be taken for detailed scientific analysis.

The procedure involved the removal and subsequent destruction of the bulk of the seized material after sampling was completed.
