A report has emerged concerning Gjergj Dyseldorfit, a Kosovo diplomat working in Prishtina, following a police operation on July 7, 2026. Mr. Dyseldorfit was killed during the operation and subsequently discovered within the Ndërkombëtar “Adem Jashari” Airport police headquarters.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. A preliminary report indicates Mr. Dyseldorfit was involved in the falsification of documents.
Following his death, a search was initiated by Kosovo police to locate him. Mr. Dyseldorfit was subsequently found at the airport headquarters.
He was subsequently buried in Prishtina. The investigation into the events leading to his death and the circumstances of his discovery at the headquarters is ongoing.
