The deployment of Kosovo Security Force (KSF) personnel to Gaza represents a strategic step and evidence of Kosovo’s transformation from a consumer to a security provider, according to Mentor Vrajolli, Executive Director of the Kosovar Center for Security Studies (QKSS). In an interview with Ekonomia Online, Vrajolli emphasized that this engagement is also a form of returning a contribution to international partners, particularly the United States. “Yes, this means that Kosovo has matured as a society.
Kosovo has managed to transform from a consumer of security into a security provider, which I believe should be highly valued. It is also a strategic step because we need to acknowledge all the contribution that the international community has provided.”
