Rama: Draft law for the RCC completed, delivery expected in Parliament

PDK Deputies Await Assembly Decision on UÇK War Values Law

PDK deputy Rrahman Rama announced that a group of 40 Kosovo Assembly deputies have initiated steps to draft and approve a law dedicated to protecting the values associated with the UÇK war. The initiative involves a completed draft law supported by comprehensive documentation. However, the formal submission of the legislative proposal is currently pending due to concerns surrounding the potential dissolution of the Kosovo Assembly.

Rama emphasized that the group of deputies is awaiting further developments within the institutions before proceeding. “We are awaiting further institutional developments,” Rama stated. “If the Assembly remains in session, the draft law will be processed promptly.

We are confident that the values of the UÇK war warrant legal protection and institutional recognition.”

The deputy expressed gratitude for the ongoing efforts within the Assembly. The draft law itself remains a key focus, with the deputies committed to its advancement should the conditions for its consideration become available. The intention is to formally introduce the law once the situation regarding the Assembly’s status is clarified.
