Rama: The yachts ‘Monet’ and ‘La Belle de l’Adriatique’ confirm growing interest in Albania on the map of tourism

Albania Sees Rising International Interest Driven by Cruise Tourism

Durrës, Albania – Prime Minister Edi Rama has attributed a significant increase in international interest regarding Albania to the growing influx of cruise tourists visiting the country’s Adriatic coastline. Speaking via a Facebook post, Rama cited the recent arrivals of two cruise ships as evidence of this trend. The visits of the “Monet” and “La Belle de l’Adriatique” brought approximately 150 tourists to Albanian shores.

Rama highlighted these arrivals as “confirming once again the growing interest in Albania on the map of the Mediterranean tourism.”

The prime minister specifically referenced the “Monet” and “Belle” vessels, noting their established presence within the region. He emphasized Durrës’s role as a key entry point for international tourists. “The cruise ships ‘Monet’ and ‘La Belle de l’Adriatique,’ two visitors with approximately 150 tourists, already known on our coasts, confirm once again the growing interest in Albania on the map of the Mediterranean tourism and the role of Durrës as an important entry gate for international tourists,” Rama stated.

The increased attention is expected to further bolster Albania’s tourism sector and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
