Reagon Shkëlzen Gashi stated: The exhibition was based on the Kandiqi list, and the official list of victims is missing.

Gashi has addressed concerns surrounding inaccuracies presented in the exhibition detailing the massacres in Kosovo. He has stated that the data utilized is derived from the comprehensive list assembled by the Humanitarian Law Center, spearheaded by Natasha Kandiqi. This list remains the sole complete record currently available, as Kosovo has yet to establish an official catalog of all victims from the 1998-1999 conflict.

The minister clarified that variations within the data, such as the Dubrava Prison Massacre where some individuals are categorized as armed, are directly sourced from the HLC’s documentation. These distinctions were not established by the exhibition’s organizers. Gashi highlighted that comparable inconsistencies are also present in the records pertaining to the Meja Massacre and the Reçak Massacre.

Minister Hoti voiced his opinion that the exhibition fundamentally misrepresents the reality of war crimes. He strongly urged the prosecution to take appropriate action. The core of the matter rests upon the established list, and Gashi’s assertion that it represents the most accurate account of the victims’ circumstances.
