Skopje’s Infectious Diseases Clinic Prepares for Potential Infectious Disease Cases
Skopje’s Infectious Diseases Clinic is maintaining readiness to address a rising number of cases related to infectious diseases, according to Director Fadil Cana. Speaking to “Lokalno,” Cana emphasized the clinic’s preparedness and operational capacity. “The Infectious Diseases Clinic is fully prepared professionally and organizationally to respond to a potential threat from an infectious disease,” Cana stated.
“We have experienced staff, clear protocols, and the capacity for diagnosis, isolation, and treatment in a timely manner.”
Despite recent concerns raised globally, Cana clarified that the World Health Organization has indicated no immediate risk of hantavirus spread. He stressed the importance of maintaining vigilance and complete coordination with relevant authorities. “The Covid pandemic has taught us that preparation should exist,” Cana added.
“We are committed to monitoring the situation and ensuring the safety and well-being of the public.”
The clinic’s focus remains on providing comprehensive care for individuals affected by infectious diseases, utilizing established procedures and maintaining close collaboration with national health institutions. The facility is equipped to handle a range of potential cases, prioritizing a measured and responsible response.
