Salaries within the Ministry of Justice will increase by 21%, Filkov signed the collective agreement.

The Ministry of Justice will see a significant boost in salaries, with an overall increase of 21% confirmed. Justice Minister Igor Filkov played a key role in finalizing the agreement. The news, reported by Macedonia Gazeta Express on March 31, 2026, at 14:55, details a new collective agreement.

Filkov, alongside representatives from the Workers’ Union for Administration, Judicial Bodies and Citizen Associations (UPOZ) and the Administration, State Administration and Judiciary Union (SADU), formally signed the agreement. This document outlines a phased wage progression for administrative personnel, ultimately culminating in a 21% rise by 2028. The implementation will occur in three distinct stages.

Initially, a 7% increase will take effect from March 1, 2026. Subsequently, another 7% rise will be applied on March 1, 2027. Finally, a further 7% increase will be implemented on March 1, 2028.

This adjustment represents a substantial improvement for Ministry of Justice employees, fostering greater motivation and providing a tangible increase in compensation.
