Savings of Kurt of 16 euros, Hamza: In that situation one must receive money in advance to pay off the debt.

PDK Chairman Questions Prime Minister Kurti’s Reported Savings

PDK Chairman Bedri Hamza raised questions regarding Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s reported personal savings of approximately 16 euros. Speaking on the “Rubikon” program, Hamza expressed skepticism about the figure. During the interview, Hamza stated that if the reported amount were accurate, Kurti would require external financial assistance by January 1st.

He explained, “I don’t want to comment as I’m speaking for myself, without wanting to get into other matters, with 16 euros by December 31st, by January 1st I might pass the day somewhat, but by January 2nd, one would have to go to the bank, or borrow somewhere, or something, because we are people, we spend, we eat bread, we drink water, we have needs.”

Hamza emphasized the practical difficulties a prime minister would face sustaining themselves with such a limited sum. He suggested that securing funds to cover basic necessities would be a significant challenge. The comments centered on the logistical implications of possessing only 16 euros at the close of the year, particularly considering the need for resources extending into January.
