Kurti and Abdixhiku to Meet Monday Amidst Political Negotiations
Kosovo’s political landscape remains focused on the upcoming presidential election. According to reports, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku are scheduled to meet on Monday. The meeting is slated to take place at the Parliament building starting at 11:00 AM.
LDK Vice-Chairman Lutfi Haziri confirmed the planned gathering. The current government insists that elections should be avoided, publicly stating their preference. In addition to Abdixhiku, Prime Minister Kurti is expected to also meet with Bedri Hamza.
Amidst ongoing institutional tensions, Albulena Haxhiu has assumed the role of President, replacing Vjosa Osmani. Osmani continues to hold meetings with citizens across the country. With only 23 days remaining until the parliamentary deadline to elect a new president, negotiations between key political figures are ongoing.
The outcome of these discussions will be crucial in determining the path forward for Kosovo’s political process.
