Ad Hoc Commission Concludes RTK Board Candidate Interviews
The ad hoc commission responsible for selecting members of the Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) Board has finalized its interviews. According to a statement released by the Assembly of Kosovo, the entire selection process was conducted with transparency and oversight, aligning with legally established timelines. The commission evaluated twelve proposed candidates for six open positions on the RTK Board.
Those candidates include Valmiri Thaqi, Flokart Aliu, Gëzim Brahaj, Fatos Mustafa, Arbërore Riza, Xheraldina Cërnobregu, Njomza Beqiri Novosella, Anita Toqi, Lulzim Beqiri, Fatmir Podrimaj, and Ilirjan Hi. The Assembly emphasized the importance of civil society monitoring throughout the hoc commission’s work. The proposed list of members will now proceed to a plenary session for voting.
This marks the conclusion of the initial stage in establishing the RTK Board, following a process overseen by the ad hoc commission. Further details regarding the voting session will be released by the Assembly of Kosovo.
