A key provision allows the CEC to initiate a recount of votes within 10% of randomly selected polling stations following the acceptance of electoral materials at the Counting and Results Center. “Following the acceptance of materials, the CEC will assess the situation and, if deemed necessary, can recount votes up to 10% of the selected polling stations,” Elezi stated.
