Defendant Presents Detailed Defense in Stari Aerodrom Homicide Case
Podgorica – The investigation into the deaths of Denis (28), Nezrin Hot (35), and Kenan Miraljemović (56) in a rental apartment in the Stari Aerodrom neighborhood of Podgorica has continued with a detailed defense presented by the defendant, Vahid Muriq (25), on April 23, 2026. The crime, which shocked the community, involved the use of a cold weapon. Lawyer Božina Banoviq reported to Pobjeda that Mr.
Muriq engaged in a multi-hour presentation of his defense, responding to all questions posed by State Prosecutor Danka Djeriq and his legal counsel. According to Banoviq, Mr. Muriq consistently provided answers and did not attempt to conceal information.
“The suspect did not defend himself by remaining silent,” Banoviq stated. “He did not want to hide anything. This is a complex life event.”
