New Digital Service Launched at Clinic to Streamline Childbirth Procedures

At the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic, a new digital service was officially launched today, designed to simplify administrative processes surrounding the birth of a child and improve access to public services for citizens. The initiative, titled “the milestone event: the birth of a child,” represents a key step in modernizing healthcare administration within Kosovo. Acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitiatha, announced the project as a new digital service integrated into the e-Kosova platform.

The service aims to streamline procedures for parents from the moment their child is born. Vitiatha explained that the project initially launched at the General Hospital of Gjakova and Ferizaj, with plans for expansion across Kosovo. The digital service consolidates all data and related services pertaining to a child’s birth.

This includes documentation and access to relevant public services. The implementation represents a significant advancement in utilizing technology to improve efficiency and accessibility within the healthcare system. Further details regarding the rollout and specific functionalities of the new digital service are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
