Representatives from the Quint nations and the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova, conducted a visit today to the Office for Civil Registration in North Mitrovica. The purpose of the engagement was to bolster cooperation between institutions and local communities. During the visit, the group emphasized the importance of utilizing the March 14th agreement regarding the Law on Foreigners.

This agreement seeks to streamline administrative processes and guarantee the inclusion of the Serbian community within Kosovo. Palatova highlighted the initiative, stating, “We encouraged local residents to take advantage of the March 14th agreement.” She further assured continued engagement from the EU with both the Government of Kosovo and the Serbian community to facilitate its full implementation.
