EU and Kosovo Government Launch New Scholarship Program for Civil Servants

The European Union and the Government of Kosovo are investing in the future of its public sector with the awarding of 40 new scholarships for Kosovar citizens pursuing Master’s degrees. The initiative, part of the 16th round of the “Young Cell Scheme” postgraduate scholarship program, will support incoming students dedicated to serving within the Kosovan government. The program, a collaboration between the EU in Kosovo, the Government of Kosovo, and a consortium including Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National Institute of Public Service, aims to bolster the skills and expertise of future civil servants.

A Welcome Event will be held on Monday, April 20th, at 17:00 at the Government Building (Salla P38) in Pristina to formally recognize the selected scholarship beneficiaries. Representatives from the EU, the Kosovan government, and the implementing partners will be present. This investment underscores the continued commitment of both the EU and the Kosovan government to developing a highly skilled workforce within the public sector.

The scholarships are designed to support individuals seeking to contribute to the advancement of services within Kosovo.
