ADMOVERE and INTEGRA, the organizers of the “Massacres in Kosovo 1998-1999” exhibition, which debuted in Prishtina Square, have addressed concerns about inaccuracies surrounding the reported death tolls during several Kosovan massacres. The exhibition’s data concerning these events is derived from the comprehensive information presented in the 2024 publication, “Massacres in Kosovo 1998-1999,” produced by ADMOVERE and INTEGRA. Dugolli is requesting immediate revisions to the exhibition’s portrayal of the Dubrave Massacre, citing substantial differences.
The organization’s methodology involved utilizing the deceased list from the “Kosovë kujtimi” Book, a work authored by the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC), under the leadership of Nataša Kandić. This HLC list was meticulously documented, acknowledging that certain individuals killed were included within its records. The compilation of the deceased lists for the various massacres relied heavily on this established source.
The intention was to present a thorough and detailed account of the tragic events. The organizers maintain a commitment to accuracy and transparency in representing the complex history of the massacres in Kosovo.
