Three Men Appear in Court in Connection with Banjskë Attack
Under increased security, Blagoje Spasojeviq, Vladimir Toliq, and Dushan Maksimoviq appeared before a court today, facing charges related to the September 2023 attack in Banjskë. The proceedings included the commencement of final statements from the defense attorneys representing the accused. During the session, Ljubomir Pantoviq, the lawyer for Blagoje Spasojeviq, began his questioning of the panel of judges.
Pantoviq argued for the preservation of legal rights for the suspects while simultaneously acknowledging the potential severity of the charges. “How is it possible to request respect for all the legal rights of the suspects, while at the same time speaking about the most severe possible judgment and punishment,” he stated. Spasojeviq, Toliq, and Maksimoviq are formally charged with involvement in the attack that occurred on September 24th.
