Calls for Transparent RTM Leadership Election Increase
Tirana, Albania – Following the lapse of the deadline for elections at Radio Television of North Macedonia (RTM), concerns are growing regarding the integrity of the ongoing leadership selection process. The Association of Macedonian Journalists (SHGM) is advocating for a demonstrably credible and transparent election of the RTM director and deputy director positions. The organization highlighted that the deadline for the procedure concluded on April 15th. “It is particularly important that the subsequent steps in the procedure are conducted in a fully transparent manner, adhering to all legal provisions and institutional protocols,” stated the SHGM.
