The LDK is seeking a further extension for international agreements, voicing strong opposition to the expedited inclusion of proposals from Nagavci. MP Besian Mustafa addressed the plenary session of the Assembly, advocating for a supplementary timeframe to thoroughly review the forthcoming agreements. He clarified that the Democratic League of Kosovo does not endorse their immediate placement on the agenda via this particular procedural route.
“Despite the LDK’s support for international agreements, we recognize a crucial circumstance,” Mustafa explained. “The Budget Committee was convened for meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, with immediate attempts being made to incorporate these items into the daily order. Initially, we are receptive to these agreements; however, we are requesting additional time to ensure all members of the LDK Parliamentary Group can adequately analyze them.”
The League emphasizes the need for a comprehensive assessment before voting, highlighting the importance of allowing all deputies to examine the details.
This approach reflects the LDK’s commitment to careful consideration of these international agreements.
