The state’s revised budget indicates an increase in planned spending of 179 million euros compared to initial projections. Authorities have stated that the primary focus of these additional funds will be directed toward critical capital investments and infrastructure development. Financially, total projected revenues are adjusted from 374.9 to 379.2 billion denars.
Correspondingly, expenditures are set to increase to 425.2 billion denars. This adjustment results in the budget deficit rising from 39.2 to 46.1 billion denars. Despite the increase, the deficit remains at a manageable level, representing 4.1 percent of the Gross Domestic Product.
The largest allocation of the supplemental funds is designated for capital expenditures, which are projected to increase by 5.8 billion denars, bringing the total to 46 billion denars. Specific ministerial allocations detail the spending priorities. The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning is slated to receive an additional 2.3 billion denars, funds earmarked primarily for upgrading water supply, sewage systems, and broader environmental infrastructure.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Transport is set to receive approximately 1.4 billion denars to support its operational and development needs.
