The OSCE’s exhibition regarding the blood spilled, funding by Parliament is a blatant scandal.

The Organization of War Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army has reacted regarding the exhibition in Prishtina’s square concerning the massacres suffered by Albanians during 1998-1999. This exhibition was removed today by Prishtina municipality teams following widespread reactions to inaccuracies in data and content. The KLA War Veterans Organization considered this exhibition a blasphemy for the blood shed for freedom.

Reagon Shkëlzen Gashi stated, “The exhibition was based on Kandiqi’s list, the official victim list is missing.”

They strongly oppose the exhibition installed in the center of Prishtina. Under the guise of remembrance, this installation distorts the truth of the Liberation War, insulting the blood shed for freedom. The presentation of civilian victims as ‘armed persons,’ precisely on the anniversary of NATO bombings, constitutes a grave offense.

The organization views the event as a deliberate attempt to manipulate historical memory. They emphasize the importance of accurate representation of the suffering endured by Albanians during the conflict. The removal of the exhibition reflects a broader concern about the handling of sensitive historical narratives within Kosovo.

The core issue remains the respect for the sacrifices made and the need for honest reflection regarding the events of 1998-1999.

  1. The OSCE’s display concerning the bloodshed, supported by Parliament, represents a shocking deception.
