The Special Prosecutor’s Office file: Prostitution with girls from Latin America in Pristina neighborhoods

Investigation Launched into International Trafficking Ring Operating in Pristina

A special investigation by the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo (PSO) is examining a suspected network involved in the trafficking of girls from Latin America. The probe centers around allegations of the girls’ exploitation for prostitution within Pristina. The investigation, involving individuals from multiple countries, has uncovered a scheme facilitating the movement of young women from Latin American nations to the Kosovan capital.

According to information obtained by Kallxo.com, a portion of the PSO’s file identifies several individuals as suspects. Fabiana Anais Cobus Vega, a citizen of Latin American origin, is reportedly the head of the criminal group. She is suspected of recruiting girls who were brought to Pristina under the promise of employment.

The investigation also includes Geri Hoxha, the son of Albanian journalist Artan Hoxha, as a suspect within the network. Authorities are currently working to establish the full scope of the operation and identify all involved parties. The Special Prosecutor’s Office continues its investigation, focusing on disrupting the trafficking network and bringing those responsible to justice.
