Kosovar Citizen Extradited from Norway to Kosovo

The Border Force Police Directorate announced today the extradition of a Kosovar citizen, F.B., from Norway to Kosovo in coordination with the Kosovo Police and relevant justice institutions. The operation concluded with the suspect’s return to Kosovo. According to a statement released by the PK, F.B.

was arrested by Norwegian authorities following an international request issued through Interpol. This request stemmed from a mutual recognition treaty initiated by the Kosovo justice institutions, as the suspect had previously evaded law enforcement. “The suspect was sought” and apprehended by Norwegian authorities.

The extradition process was conducted in accordance with current laws and facilitated by the close collaboration between Kosovo and Norwegian institutions. Following the handover, F.B. was transferred to police units operating in the Pejë region for ongoing legal proceedings.

The PK emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Kosovo and international partners in ensuring justice and security within Kosovo. Further details regarding the case are pending.
