Gjakovë: Construction Worker Dies After Fall from Building
A construction worker died Wednesday afternoon following an incident at a building on “Pjetër Bogdani” street in Gjakovë. Police were alerted to the situation around 5:00 PM when a man of advanced age was reported to have fallen from a high-rise structure while conducting work. Responding units, including police and an emergency medical team, arrived at the scene promptly.
The victim was found deceased. Vlera Krasniqi, from the Police Information Office in Gjakovë, confirmed the news to Telegrafin. She stated that the state prosecutor was present at the scene and investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
“Around 5:00 PM, the police were notified that a man of advanced age had fallen from a high-rise building during his work,” Krasniqi confirmed. Currently, one individual is being interviewed as a suspect in connection with the tragedy. The police are continuing their investigation into the events leading up to the incident at the building.
