Two Arrested in Tirana on Drug Trafficking Charges
Tirana – Two individuals have been arrested in Tirana, Albania, following charges of drug trafficking, resulting in a combined prison sentence of 12 years. The arrests were made by the Tirana Police, who apprehended both individuals after they were previously sentenced by the Ancona Court in Italy. Forty-three-year-old Klodian Hoxha was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison for drug trafficking.
Following his sentencing, Hoxha was taken into custody by the Tirana Police. Interpol Tirana is currently collaborating with Interpol Rome to facilitate his extradition to Italy to serve his sentence. The second individual arrested remains unnamed at this time.
