Vetëvendosje will not return to parliament after the break, as a session regarding oil prices begins.

The Vetëvendosje movement will not be participating in the Kosovo parliament following the recent disruption concerning oil prices. A session dedicated to these issues has commenced. Deputies representing the Vetëvendosje party have remained absent from the parliament building after a temporary suspension of the debate surrounding rising oil prices.

Vice President of Parliament, Ardian Gola, initiated the session by announcing that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (GP) from Vetëvendosje was granted the floor. Notably, no representatives from the movement were present. “Up to this point, no one from their delegation has arrived,” Gola stated firmly.

Following this initial declaration, Gola then allocated the speaking time to PDK deputy, Ferat Shala. This action underscored the absence of Vetëvendosje members within the parliament during the critical discussion about oil prices and their impact on national finances. The situation highlights a significant impasse in the legislative process regarding the fluctuating oil market and its implications.
