Volkswagen Unveils New Electric ID. Polo
Volkswagen has introduced the ID. Polo, a fully electric vehicle that marks the complete adoption of the iconic Polo name into a new generation.
Built upon the MEB+ platform, the new polo offers a substantial range, with models achieving up to 455 kilometers (283 miles) on a single charge, depending on configuration. The ID. Polo is available with three distinct power levels, topping out at 208 horsepower.
Charging capabilities are also a key feature, with fast charging times of approximately 24 minutes for a full charge. The vehicle’s starting price in Germany is set at approximately €24,995, establishing it as one of the most accessible electric vehicles currently available. Inside, the ID.
Polo incorporates a digital display alongside a large central touchscreen, complemented by several physical controls for ease of use. Volkswagen intends for this new model to continue the heritage of the classic polo while integrating contemporary electric technology.
