Kyiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced preparations for new cooperation agreements focused on security with international partners. In a video address released on Sunday, Zelensky emphasized the continued prioritization of bolstering Ukraine’s defense capabilities. Speaking to the public, Zelensky stated that air defense systems for Ukraine, ongoing support for the armed forces, and the strengthening of defensive structures remain paramount.

He highlighted that significant announcements regarding security cooperation with international partners are expected within the coming week. “We do not forget that air defense for Ukraine, support for our army and ensuring our defense remain a priority,” Zelensky stated. “More security agreements are in the future – Rustem Umerov is working with the relevant countries,” he added.

The President’s remarks follow existing agreements, including a current arrangement concerning air defense. These new initiatives aim to further solidify Ukraine’s defense posture as it continues to address ongoing security challenges.
