Workers at the railway company Trainkos are experiencing salary delays, as the payments for the previous month have not been disbursed. According to the Railway Union, this situation deviates from the usual practice, where salaries are typically paid before the first day of the month. Florim Gjyrevci, Chairman of the Railway Union, informed Telegrafi that the delay has now surpassed five days, affecting approximately 160 workers.
Gjyrevci noted, “We always received salaries before the 1st. Today is the 7th, and the deadline has passed by five days. The salaries for about 160 workers have not yet been paid.”
The union has taken steps to address the issue.
Gjyrevci reported that a meeting was held on Monday with the executive director of Trainkos to discuss the matter of delayed payments. This meeting was held to resolve the outstanding wages for the affected workers. The continued delay in salary payments raises concerns among the workers and the union regarding the financial stability and payroll management of the railway company.
The union continues to monitor the situation to ensure that all employees receive their rightful compensation in a timely manner.
