The Central Election Commission has reported that the process of counting ballots cast outside Kosovo, specifically via mail, for the early elections for the Kosovo Assembly is currently underway at the Counting and Results Center. The counting commenced on Friday, April 12, at 9:00 PM. As of Wednesday, April 17, at 9:00 AM, the process has accounted for 215 out of a total of 223 ballot boxes, representing 96.41% of the total.
The remaining eight boxes are scheduled to be included in the ongoing counting process, and the final tabulation of all mailed ballots is expected to be completed at a later time. In addition to the overseas votes, the counting process expanded on Wednesday morning to include ballots from conditional voting. This specific voting mechanism was utilized across 52 municipalities.
The CEC continues to manage the detailed counting procedures to ensure all votes are accurately tallied. The commitment to transparency is maintained through the systematic counting of all received materials, ensuring a comprehensive count of the electorate’s participation across different voting methods and geographical areas.
