39 people were rescued after the night at the family ranch in Ferizaj; two people are under investigation.

The Kosovo Police reported that an armed incident occurred on September 1, 2026, at approximately 12:30 AM. Authorities were alerted to a shootout involving firearms at a restaurant located in the village of Balaj, within the Ferizaj area. Upon receiving the report, rapid response units from the police were immediately dispatched to the site, followed by specialized investigation and forensic teams.

During the subsequent examination of the scene, officers recovered a total of 39 gas weapons. As part of the formal investigation, police personnel secured statements from witnesses and collected video recordings, which were retained as crucial material evidence. The ongoing investigation has allowed authorities to identify two individuals of interest: R.L., aged 27, and SH.M., aged 35.

These people are currently suspected of discharging weapons during what is alleged to have been a family dispute. The police continue to process the evidence gathered from the scene and interviews to fully determine the circumstances surrounding the shootout. Authorities emphasize that the comprehensive investigation aims to establish the sequence of events and the full context of the incident.
