Rizvan Seferi, a parent, detailed the difficulties faced by families, noting that 11-year-old students must travel approximately 40 kilometers daily to attend the “Manastir Congress” school located in Çair, Skopje. This commute is required regardless of adverse weather conditions, such as rain or snow.
Furthermore, the transportation system often presents obstacles. Mr. Seferi pointed out that bus services frequently experience delays attributed to workers, which consequently results in students missing scheduled lessons.
He emphasized the considerable difficulty this presents for parents whose children must travel to distant institutions, citing both Ognjancë and the Manastir Congress as examples. These travel demands create substantial hardships for the families, particularly when the weather conditions deteriorate during the winter months.
