Authorities announced the arrest on April 17, 2026, following a three-month investigation. The suspect, a Kosovan male, is implicated in a brawl that took place on January 4, 2026, at approximately 20:30, in the Zahir Pajaziti area of Podujevë.

The incident resulted in three individuals sustaining injuries. The suspect is currently facing charges including possession of a weapon without a permit and aggravated bodily harm. Police confiscated a pistol, suspected of being utilized during the altercation, following the arrest.

According to a police report, the individual underwent a 24-hour interrogation before being remanded into custody.
