Durrës Driver Makes Statements Following Fatal Accident
Durrës, Albania – The driver involved in a tragic accident on Monday has provided a statement to police following the deaths of two children and another’s critical condition at the Trauma Hospital. The incident occurred in Durrës at midday. Nikolle Rradaçi, 57, was questioned twice by the investigative group.
Initial reports indicated Rradaçi was in a serious psychological state and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the questioning. He reportedly stated he did not remember the events surrounding the accident. Correspondent Klodiana Haxhiaj, reporting from Durrës, indicated Rradaçi expressed shock at the severe consequences of his actions.
Sources suggest Rradaçi admitted to being intoxicated during the time of the incident.
