In observance of Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place throughout February globally, IPKO organized a series of educational and informational activities dedicated to supporting cancer survivors. These specialized activities were held on February 5th, 6th, and 7th at Ring Mall Ferizaj, providing a centralized venue for support, information dissemination, and motivation for all participants. The primary goal of the initiative was to establish a dedicated space where cancer survivors could access valuable knowledge directly from healthcare professionals.
Beyond clinical advice, the program was designed to facilitate peer support, allowing attendees to share personal experiences and build a network for navigating the journey toward improved health and confidence. Over the three days, the activities featured a comprehensive schedule. Participants had the opportunity to attend professional lectures covering various aspects of cancer care, and they could also consult one-on-one with specialist doctors and oncology experts.
This combination of expert medical consultation and peer interaction provided a holistic support system. The organized activities underscored the importance of continuous awareness and support for individuals impacted by cancer. By bringing together medical professionals and survivors, the event aimed not only to educate the public about cancer management but also to empower survivors with actionable information and community resources necessary for long-term well-being.
