Memory and truth – in Pristina’s square.

Many individuals exist who don’t build, yet find themselves alongside structures they haven’t created. They don’t generate light, but instead, strive to appear within the illumination of others’ accomplishments. These people don’t carry the weight of genuine achievement, but actively seek its shadow, hoping to conceal their own perceived emptiness.

These are the custodians of possessions, often presenting themselves as friends, loyal companions, or humble admirers. They speak with the language of praise and approach with a pleasant demeanor. However, fundamentally, respect for truth is not driven; rather, greed to possess what they never created motivates their actions.

They don’t walk alongside you to share the burden of life, but instead, exploit the moment when they can replace you in the memories of others. A person without action seeks to dwell within another’s work, and a person without roots attempts to immerse themselves in the history of those who have sacrificed. Their motivations are rooted in a desire to appear significant, rather than genuine contribution.
