Russia has been attacking the northern and eastern regions of Ukraine, resulting in two deaths and thirty injuries.

Russian forces intensified their attacks across northern and central Ukraine on Monday evening, resulting in a tragic loss of life and numerous injuries. Local officials confirmed that military Russian air strikes within these regions caused at least two fatalities and approximately thirty individuals were wounded. The situation near the city of Poltava was particularly devastating.

Regional governor Vitaly Diakinvych reported via Telegram that a drone was successfully brought down, leading to the death of one person and the injury of three others. The incident also caused damage to a building. Notably, a child was among those injured.

“According to updated information, sadly one person has died,” Diakinvych stated. “Three individuals were injured. Two have been admitted to hospital, including a boy.”

Further north, in the Dniprop region, artillery fire contributed to the death of a 65-year-old man.

These attacks underscore the ongoing conflict within Ukraine. The continued presence of Russian forces in northern Ukraine continues to pose a significant threat.
