Ministers, former mayors, and prominent figures from political life are leaving Parliament

Ministers, former mayors, and prominent figures from Kosovo’s political, academic, and sporting spheres are expected to remain outside the Parliament building as the new legislative session commences. Attention is particularly focused on anticipated changes within the Parliamentary Group representing the Vetëvendosje Movement. The transition period is marked by several notable departures and shifts in affiliation for several key members.

Among those who will not be part of the Parliament from the Vetëvendosje Movement are several well-known personalities. These include Haxhi Avdyl, who has joined President Vjosa Osmani, alongside former ministers Rozeta Hajdari and Vigan Qorrolli. Other prominent figures leaving the parliamentary ranks include former Mayor of Prizren, Mytaher Haskuka, and Bylbyl Sokoli, a recognized figure in Kosovar sports.

Furthermore, a list of former deputies from LVV who will not be serving in Parliament includes Fjolla Ujkani, Drita Pajaziti, Fitim Haziri, Bylbyl Sokoli, Driton Hyseni, Bajram Mavriqi, Arijeta Rexhepi, Rozeta Hajdari, Afërdita Hajrizi, Arsim Ademi, and Avdullah K. These movements signal a notable reshuffling within the political landscape. The departures of several established ministers and high-profile figures suggest a period of realignment and potential restructuring within the political blocs as they navigate the commencement of the new legislative term.
