LAMM: No long waits at border crossings

According to LAMM, communication across state roads is proceeding without incident, provided the conditions are dry. Traffic volume on routes situated outside of metropolitan areas is currently reported as moderate. Furthermore, at the border crossings on the Macedonian side, travelers are no longer encountering long delays for both entering and exiting the country.

However, LAMM advises motorists to maintain regulated speeds and strictly adhere to established traffic signals. Careful driving is particularly emphasized for vehicles traversing areas prone to unstable terrain, such as valleys, river valleys, and steep slopes, due to the potential risk of mudslides. This heightened caution is specifically recommended for several key road sections, including Katllanovë-Veles, Mavrovë-Dibër-Strugë, Vinicë-Berovë, and Koçan-Dellçevë.

Drivers are urged to exercise extra vigilance when navigating these segments to ensure the safety of all road users. The advisory underscores that while overall travel conditions are manageable, adherence to local traffic regulations and cautious driving practices remain paramount for safe transit across the national road network.
