VLEN: We are not just a party, but a larger force

VLEN asserts that the concept of national unity has been a recurring theme in Albanian discourse for many years. According to the party, while numerous leaders have spoken of this unity, few have demonstrated a willingness to prioritize the common interest over established partisan affiliations. Consequently, VLEN claims its formation was not motivated by the need to introduce another entity into the existing political structure.

Instead, VLEN states that its emergence stems from a concerted effort to consolidate the collective energy, potential, and political will of the Albanian community around a unified vision. The movement emphasizes that five distinct political forces collaborated to overcome prior differences, thereby building a common political project. This project is framed around the aspirations of citizens residing in various key Albanian settlements, including Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Kumanovo, Kërçovë, Strugë, and Dibër, representing all areas where equitable representation, development, and dignity are sought.

The party positions itself as offering a modern alternative to the current political climate. VLEN’s founders argue that their unified platform represents a departure from historical political divisions. They maintain that their goal is fundamentally structural: to create a broad coalition that transcends traditional party lines.

This commitment to cross-factional cooperation, they assert, proves that the movement is built on shared civic goals rather than narrow ideological divides, distinguishing it as a significant development within the contemporary political sphere.
