The BH is searching for “driver of the year” – there is a good reward for it.

The “Best Young Driver of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2026” competition has launched, promoting secure and conscientious driving habits among younger individuals. This contest is designed to encourage responsible behavior for eligible participants. Individuals aged 18 to 26, possessing a legitimate B license and without any accumulated penalty points, are invited to take part.

The first stage involves an online assessment, running from March 23rd to April 5th. This test will cover crucial topics such as traffic regulations, basic first aid procedures, and fundamental driving techniques. Following this initial screening, the fifty highest-scoring candidates will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for May 22nd.

Only the twenty most successful individuals will then compete in the final round, held on May 23rd at the Butmir polygon in Sarajevo. Throughout the competition, the young driver participants will undergo rigorous practical assessments, evaluating their abilities in diverse traffic scenarios. The top three winners will be awarded prize money totaling approximately €770, €510, and €360 respectively, recognizing their skill and commitment to safe driving.
