The street is once again filled with debris; the Municipal Police “Cleaning” warns of fines and photo publication.

The Regional Waste Company, “Pastrimi,” has issued a statement expressing significant concern over the persistent pollution of public areas within the village of Trudë. Despite the company undertaking multiple clean-up operations in the locality, the site continues to accumulate refuse, suggesting a pattern of improper disposal by local residents. In their public announcement, Pastrimi highlighted that efforts to maintain sanitation have been consistently undermined by the irresponsible dumping of materials.

The company noted that the area, which had previously been cleared, has once more become compromised. “Trudë. It is not the first time it has been cleaned, but it is again being filled with waste,” stated a representative from KRM Pastrimi, emphasizing the recurring nature of the issue.

The company addressed its appeal directly to the community, urging citizens to cease discarding refuse in public spaces. Pastrimi warned that the continuous accumulation of waste is unacceptable and that enforcement actions will be initiated against violators. Specifically, the company announced that individuals caught littering could face a substantial fine of 500 euros, in addition to having their photographs published as a deterrent.

The statement underscores a call for greater civic responsibility to ensure that public areas remain clean and usable for all residents.
