Residents and businesses are advised of a scheduled interruption to the water supply due to necessary technical works addressing defects in the water supply line valves located on Krste Misirkov Boulevard and Kej Dimitar Vlahov. These essential maintenance procedures are scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, and will take place from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM.
The disruption is expected to impact a significant portion of the city center, with residents anticipating reduced or no water pressure specifically affecting the area between Avtokomanda and Kamnik. The service interruption will affect numerous key locations throughout Skopje, including the MANU Building, Basic Court 2, Cultural Center, Rinore Library, University Library, Saint Cyril and Methodius University, Mavrovo Shopping Center, a section of the Turkish Bazaar, Sahat Tower, Petar Gjeorgiev Street, Ul. Otokar Kershovani, Avokatska Street, and Krst Boulevard.
Authorities emphasize that this work is required to repair existing infrastructure. Stakeholders are urged to prepare for the loss of water service during the specified hours to minimize disruption to daily activities across the affected areas of Skopje.
