Construction work on “UÇK” Street in Pristina, the middle lane of the road is temporarily closed.

The Municipality of Pristina has announced upcoming construction activities scheduled for “UÇK” Street from June 23 to June 26, 2026. These efforts are part of a broader project aimed at upgrading local infrastructure and enhancing traffic safety through the installation of new public lighting elements. Due to the necessary work, the central lane of the street will be temporarily closed.

However, vehicle traffic is expected to continue through the remaining operational lanes. The temporary circulation restrictions are scheduled for specific time blocks: 08:00 – 11:00, 13:30 – 15:00, and 18:00 – 20:00. The Municipality has stated that appropriate road signage will be installed in the immediate vicinity of the construction zone to guide motorists.

Furthermore, all necessary measures will be implemented to ensure public safety and manage traffic flow throughout the duration of the project. Following the completion of this work, “UÇK” Street is anticipated to benefit from improved illumination and enhanced safety features. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly to accommodate the temporary changes to the usual traffic patterns.
