The Municipality of Ferizaj has reaffirmed its enforcement of fines related to littering. The Ferizaj Municipal Inspectorate conducted inspections on both Saturday and the current day to identify and issue penalties to individuals caught disposing of waste in unauthorized locations. Feriz Hyseni, the leader of the Ferizaj Inspectorate Sector, confirmed that the municipality is actively implementing measures to deter illegal waste dumping within the area.
Hyseni provided specific examples of recent enforcement actions, noting that a fine was issued on the Burrnik–Pleshinë road in the village of Prelez i Jerlive, specifically at the intersection of ‘Astrit Bytyqi,’ ‘Gjon Serreçi,’ and ‘2 Korriku’ roads. Additionally, another fine was recorded for street pollution on ‘Enver Topalli’ street. The notice issued by the municipality serves as a reminder to all residents regarding proper waste disposal.
Authorities are urging citizens to exercise caution and refrain from discarding waste materials in public streets. Continued enforcement by the Ferizaj municipality underscores the local government’s commitment to maintaining cleanliness and environmental standards across the community.
