EC Ma Ndryshe accuses the Municipality of Prizren of lack of transparency regarding the complaint

EC Ma Ndryshe has voiced concerns regarding the perceived lack of institutional response following the release of preliminary results for the public call for financial support. This funding initiative, targeting non-governmental organizations in the sectors of Culture, Youth, and Sport for the year 2026, was organized by the Municipality of Prizren. According to statements from the organization, EC Ma Ndryshe does not intend to challenge the support decisions made for other beneficiary organizations, nor does it seek preferential treatment in the allocation process.

Instead, the core concern centers on a fundamental tenet of public administration: the right of every applicant to receive a formal response and detailed justification regarding administrative decisions that impact them. The formal process began when EC Ma Ndryshe submitted a complaint requesting a review of the decision on May 20. Subsequently, an official reminder was dispatched on June 11.

As of the date of reporting, the organization has not received any official acknowledgment or substantive reply from the relevant authorities within the municipality. The delay in receiving feedback raises procedural questions about transparency and due process within the funding mechanism managed by the Municipality of Prizren. For EC Ma Ndryshe, the issue is procedural accountability rather than the outcome of the funding call itself.

The lack of communication, despite formal appeals, underscores the organization’s focus on ensuring that established administrative rights are upheld for all participating non-governmental bodies.
