Specifically, the search volume for global job opportunities has increased substantially, having more than doubled since 2020. Analysis of the data reveals that this inclination to seek employment outside Germany is particularly pronounced among higher-income earners. Focusing on respondents with a substantial net family income of at least 6,000 euros, the findings show considerable engagement with the international job market.
Fifty-four percent of this demographic reported that they had either applied for roles or actively researched international job prospects over the last twelve months. Furthermore, two-thirds of these individuals indicated a general plan to secure employment outside of Germany.
