Details from today’s operation: 9 people arrested – 15 thousand euros and five oil cars seized

The Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo announced the conclusion of a large-scale operation conducted on Wednesday across multiple regions of Kosovo. This coordinated effort led to the arrest of nine individuals suspected of involvement in organized crime activities. A joint statement issued by the Special Prosecutor’s Office, the Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Customs, and the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) detailed the execution of the operation.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Special Prosecutor’s Office and the Directorate for Investigation of Serious Crimes and Organized Crime within the Kosovo Police, with supplementary support provided by Customs and the ATK. Acting under a warrant issued by the Basic Court in Pristina, authorities conducted inspections at 21 different locations. During the raids, law enforcement teams successfully seized significant assets.

The recovered items included 15,000 euros in cash, five vehicles, five trucks designated for transporting oil derivatives, two firearms, and 54 rounds of ammunition. The comprehensive nature of the operation underscores a concerted effort by multiple state agencies to combat organized criminal networks within the country.
