Aliu visits the flooded areas in Dardani and Zllatar, promising support for affected families and businesses

Mayor Agim Aliu visited the villages of Dardani and Zllatar to assess the damage caused by recent heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding. The visit aimed to evaluate the impact on local infrastructure, family livelihoods, and agricultural sectors within the affected areas. Aliu was accompanied by several key municipal officials, including the Director of Public Services and Emergency, Alberton Sahiti; the Director of Agriculture, Burim Bajrami; and the Director of Infrastructure, Meriton Hajdini.

Representatives from the affected villages also participated in the assessment. According to a statement issued by the Ferizaj Municipality, the inspection revealed substantial damage across multiple sectors due to the flooding. The municipal delegation, which included the Mayor and various directors, toured the areas impacted by the heavy rains.

The presence of the directorate staff alongside the mayor underscored a coordinated municipal response to the crisis. The assessment covered the immediate needs of the residents and the scope of the damage requiring repair and recovery efforts. The visit confirmed that the infrastructure and agricultural lands in Dardani and Zllatar sustained considerable damage, necessitating immediate intervention from municipal authorities to support the affected communities.
